Farid is also implying that although he lives in that country he doesnt live like real Afghans. I believe that all humans have worth in society because, they can make there life out of something if they wanted to. And there life is also important to other people. It doesnt matter which society you live in, worth is still the same.

Farid has told Amir you've always been a tourist here, you just didnt know it. Farid is saying that, alot of things has went on in the country and you werent aware of your surroundings during the time u were there. Also he thought Amir had a nice life because, He lived in a big two- three story house with a nice backyard that has nice flowers in it. THey also had friends come over,however, What he is implying is that he was rich and live in a nice neighborhood in afganistan. next, paretnts were so rich that they hired workers to do things fof them.

Tourist or Not
I have agreed to what Farid has said to Amir about he has always been a tourist in the country Afghanistan. I also agree with giving a person worthy because, Human are worth something if they make an effort to be worth it into society.

Afghanistan
What i already knew about afghanistan was some what like what is really going on there. I knew taht the civilains were being treated poorly and the Talbian was controling everything. I learned the reality of what they were doing for punishment and how horrible it must have been to live there. Amir had a easy childhood from other afgan children, his father was very weathy and didnt have any problem providing for Amir. When Amir moved to america his father had to work at a gas station, they were doing ok but did not have the money they once had. On the other hand he was safe from any danger. I think that Amir's move to AMerica was a good thing because he did not have to worry about his every move, he was able to live his life and go to school like he always dreamed of doing.

Afgan woman
When Amir dicided that he wanted to marry Soraya, he had to get her fathers approve. When the General approved Amir was asked to talk to Soraya, she told him of her fling with a Afgan man. Amir was a little taken back but he excepted it and it didnt bother him. The differances between american Afgan women and woman living in the taliban was that if this happened over in Afgan Soraya would of been killed infront of thousands of people, here she was hidden and had to move so that people would not talk about her and her family. The ways of live style are very different, and she is lucky to be living in America.

Amir and Hassans' friendship
In the book Kite runner Amir has a "friend" hassan, but Amir dosen't consider hassan his true friend. this seperation that amir creats could be because Amir is a Pashtun and Hassan is a Hazzara. From the beginning of the novel Amir and Hassan played pranks on people and got into trouble. But it always seemed to be Amir telling Hassan what to do and Hassan would always end up in trouble and not Amir.

There is a major diference in Baba ans alis' relationship, and that is that Bab treats ali more like a friend. We do not see this in Amir and Hassans' relationship. As we get deeper into the story we learn that Hassan is actually baba's son.
The fact that baba cares so much about Hassan starts to bother amir, it makes him feel sepeted and makes him feel like his father dose not actually care about him.
